Contextual Studies BVA

Homework Assignments - Contextual Studies BVA. Friday, October 8, 2010. This week we had the privilege of hearing Richard Orjis tell us about his practice. I was instantly drawn to his photographs, firstly because they appeal to me visually, and secondly because they speak about nature, culture and beauty. Orjis uses a lot of blackness in his images. This really appeals to me and I think it fits in with his search for beauty in nature because the colour black gives a sense of danger and mystery.
